Course activities will engage preservice teachers in the use of student performance
data to make informed decisions related to the integration of technology. Learners
develop a deeper understanding when they build and manipulate models in contexts
that approximate the ˇ°real-worldˇ° (White & Frederiksen, 1998). For example,
visualization and analytical tools used in math and science profoundly change
the role of teachers and how students learn in the classroom (NRC, 2002, p.215). |
