Building a Fence

Steve is helping his dad to build a fence (pictured below). Between each post they are going to put 3 horizontal bars.

The distance between posts is 2 yards. Steve and his dad are building a rectangular fence behind their house that will surround an area of 40 square yards. How many posts will they need? How many bars will they need?
