Ribbons
In art class, you and your classmates are making crafts to decorate the classroom with. Each craft requires six pieces of ribbon, each of which needs to be 7 cm long.
The school purchases ribbon in 2 meter spools. How many crafts can be made from 4 spools of ribbon?
Extension: If ribbon costs $6.50 per spool and $23.50 per case, determine how much money it would cost to purchase enough ribbon for everyone on your class to make one craft. Write a number sentence to show how you came to your answer.
